Why Exotic Cars Need Specialized Towing
A Ferrari 812 Superfast has a factory ground clearance of approximately 4.5 inches. A McLaren 720S sits around 4.1 inches. A Lamborghini Huracán at standard ride height is in the same range. These figures matter enormously during towing: when a standard flatbed tilts to its loading angle, the transition from road surface to the ramp deck creates a gap that these vehicles cannot clear without scraping the front splitter, the undertray, or the rear diffuser. Any one of those components on an exotic car can cost thousands to repair or replace.
Proper exotic towing uses a hydraulic flatbed that can reduce its loading angle to close to zero, combined with low-profile loading ramps that bridge the gap between the road and the deck surface. The result is a loading path that the car can traverse without contact on any aero or underbody component. This is a fundamentally different operation than rolling a daily driver onto a standard flatbed.
Strap placement is equally critical. Hard ratchet straps with metal hooks in contact with an exotic's painted surfaces, carbon fiber body panels, or suspension components can cause cosmetic and structural damage that results in very expensive repair bills — and contested insurance claims if the towing company didn't document the vehicle's condition before loading. We use soft loop straps routed through wheel openings and around manufacturer-approved structural anchor points, with no metal hardware in contact with the vehicle body or trim.
Atlanta has a substantial concentration of exotic vehicles — particularly in Buckhead, Sandy Springs, and the Alpharetta/Avalon corridor — and our team responds regularly to exotic vehicle calls in these areas. Whether it's a flat tire on Peachtree Road, a dead battery in a Buckhead parking deck, or a post-accident recovery on GA-400, we treat these calls with the equipment and procedure they require.
Low-Clearance Loading
Hydraulic flatbed reduces loading angle for vehicles under 5-inch ground clearance — no splitter or diffuser contact.
Soft Straps Only
No metal hooks touch your car — soft loops through wheel openings and approved structural points only.
Pre-Load Documentation
We photograph the vehicle condition before loading — timestamp documentation of any pre-existing marks or damage.

Exotic Car Towing Atlanta — FAQ
Can a standard flatbed tow a Ferrari or Lamborghini?
Not without risk. Most exotics have ground clearances of 4–5 inches or less — some McLarens and Ferraris are below 4 inches at standard ride height. A standard flatbed angle during loading can scrape splitters, diffusers, and undertray panels. Proper exotic towing uses a flatbed with a hydraulic tilt that reduces the loading angle, plus loading ramps with low-profile extensions to bridge the gap safely. We carry the appropriate equipment.
What straps do you use for exotic cars?
Soft loop straps only — no metal hooks, no ratchet straps with metal hardware in contact with the vehicle. We route straps through wheel spokes and around control arms where manufacturer-approved tie-down points exist, or around designated frame points. No straps touch painted surfaces, carbon fiber body panels, or aero components. This is non-negotiable for exotic transport.
Do you transport exotic cars to and from the airport in Atlanta?
Yes. Hartsfield-Jackson and private aviation facilities at DeKalb-Peachtree (PDK) and Fulton County Airport regularly involve exotic vehicle transport — bringing in vehicles for visiting owners or moving cars to storage. We handle airport-connected exotic transport with enclosed-option coordination available on request.
What exotics do you tow in Atlanta?
Ferrari (all models including SF90, 812, Roma), Lamborghini (Huracán, Urus, Revuelto), McLaren (720S, Artura, GT), Porsche GT models (GT3, GT3 RS, Cayman GT4), Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Maserati, Koenigsegg, and all other low-clearance exotic or luxury vehicles. If your car is valuable and low, we have the right equipment.
