Service Agreement

Atlanta Towing Service provides emergency towing, roadside assistance, and vehicle recovery services throughout the Metro Atlanta area. Our services are available 24/7, 365 days a year to licensed drivers in Georgia.

By accepting our services, you enter into a binding agreement with Atlanta Towing Service LLC, a Georgia-licensed towing company operating under Georgia Department of Public Safety regulations.

  • Service Area: Our primary service area includes Atlanta metro, Fulton County, DeKalb County, Gwinnett County, and Cobb County
  • Response Time: We strive for 25-minute average response but cannot guarantee specific arrival times due to traffic, weather, and demand
  • Service Authorization: Only vehicle owners or authorized drivers may request towing services
  • Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services unless pre-arranged payment plans are established
  • Emergency Priority: Emergency calls receive priority dispatch over scheduled or non-urgent services

Pricing and Payment Terms

Our pricing complies with Georgia maximum rate tariffs and is transparent with no hidden fees. All prices are quoted upfront when possible.

  • Standard Rates: Towing rates are based on Georgia DPS maximum allowable charges
  • Mileage Charges: Distance-based fees apply for towing beyond the first 5 miles
  • After-Hours Service: Additional charges may apply for services between 10 PM and 6 AM
  • Storage Fees: Daily storage fees apply if vehicles are held at our facility
  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit cards, and work with most insurance companies
  • Disputed Charges: Any billing disputes must be reported within 30 days of service
  • Collections: Unpaid balances may be referred to collection agencies after 60 days

Special pricing may apply for commercial accounts, fleet services, or recurring customers with pre-arranged agreements.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers have specific responsibilities when requesting and receiving towing services:

  • Accurate Information: Provide correct location, vehicle details, and contact information
  • Vehicle Access: Ensure our operators can safely access your vehicle
  • Personal Property: Remove valuable items before towing when possible
  • Safety Compliance: Follow operator instructions for safety during service
  • Documentation: Provide valid driver's license and vehicle registration when requested
  • Payment Authorization: Have authorized payment method available at service completion
  • Destination Authority: Specify authorized towing destination (home, shop, etc.)

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in service delays, additional charges, or service refusal.

Liability and Insurance Coverage

Atlanta Towing Service maintains comprehensive commercial insurance and operates under strict safety protocols:

  • Commercial Insurance: $1,000,000 liability coverage for property damage and bodily injury
  • Garage Keeper's Insurance: Coverage for vehicles in our care, custody, and control
  • Equipment Damage: We are liable for damage caused by our equipment or negligence
  • Pre-existing Damage: Not responsible for damage that existed before our service
  • Personal Property: Limited liability for items left in vehicles during towing
  • Weather Conditions: Not liable for delays caused by severe weather or road conditions
  • Third-Party Actions: Not responsible for damage caused by other parties at service location

All damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion with photographic evidence when possible.

Service Limitations

While we strive to help in all situations, certain limitations apply to our services:

  • Dangerous Conditions: We may refuse service in unsafe weather or traffic conditions
  • Illegal Parking: Cannot tow from private property without proper authorization
  • Vehicle Condition: Severely damaged vehicles may require special equipment and additional time
  • Access Restrictions: Cannot provide service in areas our trucks cannot safely access
  • Hazardous Materials: Will not tow vehicles containing dangerous or illegal substances
  • Weight Limits: Heavy-duty vehicles may require specialized equipment and crews
  • Time Constraints: Cannot guarantee service during peak demand periods or major events

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Service cancellations and refunds are handled according to the following policies:

  • Free Cancellation: No charge if canceled before our truck is dispatched
  • Dispatch Fee: $50 cancellation fee if canceled after dispatch but before arrival
  • On-Scene Cancellation: Minimum service charge applies if canceled after operator arrival
  • Completed Services: No refunds for completed towing or roadside assistance
  • Service Failures: Full refund if we cannot complete requested service due to our limitations
  • Billing Errors: Immediate refund for verified billing mistakes
  • Insurance Claims: Work with insurance companies for covered services and disputes

Privacy and Data Protection

Customer privacy and data security are priorities for Atlanta Towing Service:

  • Information Collection: We collect only data necessary for service delivery
  • Data Security: Customer information is protected with industry-standard security measures
  • Third-Party Sharing: Limited sharing only for service delivery and legal requirements
  • Retention Period: Customer data retained for legal and business requirements only
